About the Organisation

Field of Interest:

Real Schools partners with schools to build and sustain a strong and relationship culture through supporting them to implement Restorative Practices by supplying an Expert Facilitator as a trainer and critical friend across a three year journey. Real Schools ensures that schools receive abundant support and resources required to make a thorough and meaningful model shift.

Motivation:

As a passionate educator and school leader, Adam learnt about Restorative Practice, saw its potential, and implemented it in the schools he was leading in. As a result, he became more effective and less stressed.

The success of Restorative Practice in schools where he worked inspired him to implement RP into as many schools as he could.

Brings to the Discussion:

Real Schools brings a methodology enacting Restorative Practice in schools which is respectful of the business and the busy-ness of Australian schools.

Each school's Expert Facilitator takes a role of responsibility in the school's Leadership Team to provide training, in-class support, parental engagement sessions, leadership mentoring, teacher coaching and a swathe of practical resources for all educators.

The entire Real Schools' approach is built on having a bias on implementation above presentation and for making a profound transformation in school culture the legacy work of each school's leaders.
