Practitioner Restorative Stories
About the Practitioner
When researching business regulations in the 1980's, John would see things that were called 'exit conferences' at the end of inspections of coal mines and nursing homes, where many stakeholders sat in a circle and decided what should be done to fix a problem. He began to learn about what we now call Restorative Justice by observing this process.
More than 30 years of research in the field of Restorative Justice, and in listening to people from many cultures and many societies.
