Practitioner Restorative Stories
About the Practitioner
My Restorative Practice consists of presenting the Peace Education Program, a series of workshops which help people discover their own personal Peace.
The Peace Education Program is an innovative series of video-based workshops that help people discover their own inner strength and personal peace.
My interest commenced when I first met Prem Rawat in 1977. Prem has been spreading his message of peace since he was four years old. He has taken his message of peace to the world and is recognized as a 'Peace Ambassador'.
I spent more than four decades working as a nursing sister and in the 1980's worked as an Educator on an AIDS education program. I have worked as a volunteer supervising access visits with children, in particular indigenous children, who had been removed from their parents. I considered the training I received most inappropriate, particularly being told not to engage with the parents during such visits.
I am a member of the Canberra Community Restorative Network which has enabled me to expand relationships with exceptional human beings working to change outdated systems that harm to practices that heal and strengthen community.
I am passionate about people thriving, knowing that personal peace is possible.
I have had the opportunity to facilitate the Peace Education Program at:
The AMC for Women Detainees. At a Health Clinic. At a Community Centre. And currently at Calwell High School for Year 9 Students,
